The last year has seen our little parrot grow up, learn to fly (fast!), learn to forage, wave, shake hands, spin on the spot and even say her name. (Sort of… *we* know what she’s saying, anyway!)

Occasionally we like to hit record when she’s being ultra crazy, ultra talkative or ultra cute. Today was especially “cute”… so I thought I’d throw together this little video.

Let’s just say our washing machine works overtime… enough said!

The avian vet told us that rainbow lorikeets would be the most popular of the parrots because of their gregarious, friendly nature – except they have a mainly liquid diet, and a fairly efficient digestive system…

And good aim…
